Okay okay... So I've given in to the lovliness that is Stargate... I swear though, if someone would have told me 10 years ago the great bits of accurate historical data in the storylines AND that MacGyver stars in it, I would have been all over it!!! These are in no particular order at all. They are mostly SG1, but there are a few SGA thrown in there too!

Back before the first season began, I heard that both Matthew Fox and Dominic Monaghan were going to be staring in a new TV series about a bunch of people who were in a plane wreck. While the storyline didn't really interest me, I wanted to see both these fine actors in roles totally unlike what they had been in before.
I watched most of the first season, and some of the second, but just couldn't pick it up again. So I stopped watching for a year.
I just recently borrowed Season 1 & 2 on DVD, and have become completely thrown back onto the island!
Wow, where to start with this show. I guess my initial thoughts on it were somewhere along the lines of "cool USAF show". I've always been a fan of shows that base themselves on 'good guy' image: MacGyver, The Commish, Law & Order, Third Watch, JAG, etc. Add these with a dash of Twilight Zone and The X-Files and you've got yourself a good mix! I like the witty characters in not-so-stereotypical roles. Where else would you find a foursome of a strong, witty Military man, a strong, smart scientist woman, a morally strong archeologist, and an alien warrier? It's quite ridiculous how good this show is....
As is pretty blatantly obvious, I'm a huge Kate and Sawyer fan. Together, apart, it doesn't really matter to me. They are my favourite characters by far. Such depth, vaunerability, and pain in their pasts... It makes for dang good T.V!!

I need to apologize, I've noticed that the icons preesented here are a little one- (or two as the case may be)sided...very Jack and/or Sam centered. I'm going to try to clear that up a bit, but probably won't really succeed! By far they are my favourite characters. I started out watching the show damning people who 'ship Jack/Sam, but alas, I am quickly becoming one of those 'shippers... I don't know if it's the strangeness of the pairing, the fact that it leagally can't happen (I'm only on Season 6), or the chemistry the actors seem to have with oneanother that is so endearing to them... ah well... don't over-analyze, just enjoy....
An interesting aspect about all of these Lost Icons is that they are pretty close to being in perfect episode order. The only variance you'll see happens because I found I was getting too many Kate or Sawyer icons bunched together :)

I've just finished Season 6. It was an interesting season. I'm not the biggest Daniel Jackson (he left the show for a season b/c he felt his character was not included enough) so I was happy for the chance to see Corin Nemec bring the part of Jonas Quinn in. Now in season 7, Daniel is back Jonas is gone and I'm not quite sure what to expect!
I'm going to contradict myself here... this is where they cease to be in order haha.... On a side note, I really don't think I can get enough Claire icons. I'm not a general fan of hers on the show, but she just so darn photogenic I don't think I've ever found/made one that she didn't look absolutely stunning in.
Some of my favourite episodes have been: The Tok'ra (pts 1&2), Emancipation, The Broca Divide, The Nox, Point of View, A Hundred Days, Holiday, The Fifth Race, Window of Opportunity, Ascention, and Abyss. I especially loved the Martouf/Lantesh, Sam/Jolinar storyline and was sad to see it end. I also really like the alternate reality episodes.
Okay, So I'm beginning to think that I'm getting a few too many SG icons LOL. I'd like to take this moment to again thank all the hardworking icon makers out there who made these!

There will still be more banners and slides below this text, but I wanted to add in that I'm now half-way through S8. Just met Vala and WOW!! Love that girl!! I can see a lot more Vala icons coming this way shortly! She's great!
