Various Fun Things I've Done In The Last Year
Back To Home Page
In July my Uncle got married in Alberta. My parents and I went out for 9 days. It's AMAZING out there.. I love it and would love to live there some day. I even managed to complete my life's ambition... I saw not only one Mountain Goat.. BUT A WHOLE HERD!!!!

We flew into Calgary where we stayed a few days than moved on. We stayed one night at Johnson Canyon which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! There were tons of Waterfalls.   After that, we moved on to Rocky Mountain House where we stayed at a Ranch and got to ride for two hours each morning! Purely amazing!
In August, Matt and I went to the Toronto Zoo! It was TONS of fun although it was WAY to hot of a day! Here are a few highlights! Matt loved the tigers but the big thing for me were the Zebras!! YEAH STRIPES!!! I want one...
In September Melissa and I attended a Backstreet Boy concert. We had huge amounts of fun reliving our Teeny-Bopper years!
In December I successfully graduated College! While my two years there were AWESOME FUN, I'm glad to be done! I miss all my friends greatly though!! So Here are a few pics of me and my classmates' crazy antics!
During Oktoberfest, The Concordia Club had some concerts. Matt and I attended the George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett concert. It was SO good. Aaron was on first and he played a bunch of his stuff that's going to be on his up-and-coming album soon! I'll be getting it for sure!   After he was done performing, he signed autographs and had his picture taken. I had mine taken with him!

Than George performed. He was extreamly good as well although not quite as good a performer as Aaron!
Every year, a little town called Cargill has a big party celebrating St.Patrick's Day. There are toasts, the tossing of the Green, Irish Stew, Irish music and flowing drinks.   It's was a blast as usual, running from 8pm - 1am.
The Can-Am Equine Tradeshow took place in London at the Western Fairgrounds.   Megh and I attended. It was AMAZING! We decided to make it a yearly thing.   I personally learned tons about differnt horsie things.   We attended quite a few clinics such as Reining, Trick horse, a bit of a Parelli thing, a Polo demonstration, and the breeds tent.

The Reining was amazing. The woman rode bareeback bridleless. So amazing. The Trick Hose clinic was run by a man from the Kentucky Horse Park!

At night there was a Musical Extravaganzia. My favourtie part was when Laura Amandis came out with her Andalusian Stallion and did what she called "Taming of the Wild Horse". She was able to control his every move with only hand cues from the ground. It's was amazingly Beautiful!   The pictures were not turning out too well, so I opted for taking videos. Here are a few.
Laura Amandis and her Andalusian Stallion. Just click on the picture and it will show you the video. They are really dark... But Megh and I know what was going on HAHA!
